A salve containing the herbal healing powers of St. John's Wort, calendula, lavender and tea tree, in a base of olive oil, vitamin E oil, and locally produced beeswax. Great to use on cuts, burns, rashes, sunburns, or scrapes. Works on animals too (...such as a very accident-prone Doberman *grin*). Customers have successfully used it on the following conditions: diaper rash, athlete's foot, nettle/poison ivy irritation, sunburn, welding burns, insect bites, bird bites (don't ask...), and more. (contains only essential oils)
**Note from Jill: I've used this salve as our primary diaper rash ointment--it's the only treatment I've found that clears up diaper rash quickly on my son's sensitive skin. I've tried several other products, and they all just made the rashes worse. We've never had a problem with this salve while using cloth diapers, either--just clean the skin, dry, and spread a light film on baby's bottom.
The 1/2 oz. jar should last a long time--I bought one when my son was a newborn, and finally scraped the last of it out of that first jar when he was 14 months old. You may want to grab a second jar, though, to keep on hand for treating cuts and scrapes, as you don't want to risk spreading germs from baby's bottom... ;o)
